In the March of 2003 I took my first ever trip to San Francisco to go to a party my friend Joi Ito was throwing and to finally see what all the fuss was about. As soon as I got off the plane I hooked up with Chris Pirillo who was letting me crash at his place while I was there and he was my tour guide for the trip. We headed over to the TechTV studios because Chris had to shoot Call for Help so I got to be a fly on the wall for a day which was a HUGE thrill since I was a giant fan of the network. The next day I would make my live international TV debut as a guest on Chris’s show which was terribly stressful but too much fun to express. On my last day I took a photowalk around the city and that’s what most of these are from. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken.
