That said, no matter how great the idea, unless you're passionate about the execution, probably best to let it go and move on. I have a bad habit of wasting time on ideas that I think are surefire money makers, but they lose steam because I have no real love for it. Especially if I'm not being paid. That said, your superstition sounds like the set up to a supernatural spy thriller. I'm sure that the process taught you /something/ and just going through the motions will make you better prepared for whatever comes next. If nothing else you've put a lot of thought into a specific problem and can whip out some well thought out arguments in conversation whenever you want. :) Good luck with whatever comes next.
